Vivian started selling real estate in the Charlotte in 1999. In 2001, Mark joined her and
they created the Munson Team. They have been helping families find homes in the
greater Charlotte area for over 20 years. This includes the lake areas of Lake Norman &
Lake Wylie and the sister cities of Belmont, Weddington/ Waxhaw, Matthews, Monroe
and Lancaster. Vivian and Mark believe that one of the most important things that they
can do is to truly understand what their clients' goals are and then streamline the buying
or selling process to make that dream come true.
A question often asked is “Which neighborhood or area is the best?”. People want to
know they are making a wise choice for their family. Having a Realtor who asks the right
questions is key. Each family or individual has a unique situation that requires their
Realtor to find the perfect fit for them. Every neighborhood has features that make it
special. It could be access to shopping, good schools, activities for kids, walkability or a
close proximity to entertainment venues. Many communities have their own amenities
such as a pool, playground, tennis courts, etc. If someone wants a more private living

Charlotte is blessed to have a terrific mix of professional sports, music/arts and
entertainment. There are also great places to enjoy biking, hiking or just walking that are
usually within 15 minutes from most neighborhoods. Charlotte has great city leaders
who have made it a priority to keep the arts alive. From traveling Broadway shows &
local theater, outdoor concerts, art shows and festivals, there is always something to do.
If it’s a quiet weekend, one can take a short drive to the mountains (2 hours) or a
weekend trip to the coast (3-31⁄2 hours). It’s hard to imagine that there is a better place
