The Stanford Group was a concept that was considered for many years before it actually came to fruition. Not only are Stephanie and Matt lifelong Seattleites, but they have both been involved in real estate and the construction industry for the past 20 years. Prior to combining their talents, they often visualized how invaluable their services could be if they tailored to buyers and sellers of real estate in the greater Seattle area. In 2017, after Stephanie's initial 13 years as a highly successful Seattle real estate broker, and Matt's 15 year residential construction career, the Stanford Group was born. Stephanie's talents are wide ranging and all encompassing. She has a deft knowledge of contracts and is a skilled negotiator. She takes immense pride in guiding her clients through the process of buying or selling their home, always providing a comprehensive understanding of local market values, delivering a high level of service, and most importantly being their trusted advocate. She is well known for her warmth and sharp sense of humor, and has an innate ability to be calm under pressure. Matt has witnessed the amazing growth this city has experienced, and from an early age he wanted to be part of it. Matt has always been drawn to construction projects, the art of building, and specifically how people live in their homes or workplace. Matt has a thorough understanding of remodeling project expenses, a good eye for design potential and expansion ideas, and a deep understanding of the mechanical workings of a home. This knowledge has proven to be key in helping clients make astute decisions when contemplating taking on a “fixer” house, or just making sense of a home inspection report. He enjoys guiding clients through this process so they can make sound financial decisions along the way, and realize their housing dreams. In their "free" time, Stephanie and Matt have tons of other interests. Spending time with friends and family, parenting two wonderful young adult kids(Sidney and Jackson), cooking, boating, traveling, exercising, and hanging with their French Bulldog, Felix.
