Kevin & Amanda Starkey
Kevin and Amanda Starkey are the husband-and-wife team behind Sold By Starkey, serving Raleigh, Cary, and communities throughout the Triangle. They’ve spent nearly two decades building their business largely through relationships, referrals, and the belief that taking great care of people will always matter more than chasing sales numbers.
North Carolina is home for both of them. Kevin grew up in Cary after moving to the area as a child, while Amanda is a Fuquay-Varina native with roots that go back to the town’s founding. They both attended East Carolina University and eventually found their way into real estate together after Kevin began his career in the industry and Amanda transitioned from nonprofit fundraising.
Kevin is deeply involved in the Realtor community and believes strongly in giving back to the profession. He currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Raleigh Regional Association of Realtors and is active with NC REALTORS at the state level. Over the years, he has served on numerous boards and committees, chaired both local and state Young Professionals Networks, and helped develop future industry leaders through the Triangle Leadership Academy.
Outside of real estate, Kevin and Amanda are parents to two daughters, Lila and Nora, and share their home with a Golden Retriever and a black cat. They love live music, great restaurants, traveling whenever schedules allow, and spending time with family and friends. NYC and Key West are longtime favorites, Kevin rarely misses a Commanders game, and Amanda is usually planning a party, volunteering, or driving someone to an activity.
At the center of both their business and their life is a pretty simple philosophy: be good people, take great care of others, and always do right by the people who trust them.
